Very yummy food, best donut I had in a long while, yummy icy juices that hit the spot chips were the perfect texture, and burger was yummy!
Staff were so friendly, especially the curly haired girl! She has a great smile!

Top spot looking out over the beach.
Obviously popular with the locals since every table was taken but plenty of shade around the clubhouse so wasn't a problem.
Great to see dogs were welcome too (and there were plenty of them!).
Good vibe, lovely staff, excellent coffee and tucker was reasonably priced.
    Definitely recommend!

If you want great tasting homemade but high quality food then Olive’s is the place to go. Michelle & her team work tirelessly to provide the best service & food possible. The food abundant & delicious. Oh & the view isn’t half bad either. Bonus is this cafe is dog friendly too.

Olive’s Cafe is located outside the Bellambi Surf Life Saving Club. No, that’s not a typo, I didn’t mean inside the SLSC I meant outside. The kitchen is a small operation located underneath the surf club and all the seating is out in the elements. This consists of camping style collapsible tables and chairs on grass with temporary marquees that are put up and pulled down daily.

With the location being right on the bike track and overlooking the beach and nearby creek it is a very picturesque location however is susceptible to the elements and if it’s raining or windy this idilic spot can become less than appealing. On the day we visited it was clear and sunny and perfect for a lazy Sunday lunch. Unfortunately lots of other people had the same idea and the place was packed!!

It’s very pet friendly and the dog spotting is a real draw card if you can manage to grab a table. We were lucky as a couple were just finishing as we arrived. We cleared the table ourselves and unfortunately a staff member didn’t come past to give it a wipe.

You need to start the dining process yourself by grabbing your own menus and walking up to the counter to place an order. You are then issued with a number; drinks and meals are delivered to your table.

On the Sunday we visited it was super busy and took more than 35min for our food to come out. Drinks arrived earlier and we had finished these well before our food arrived.

I opted for Olive’s version of a big breakfast which was loaded with food including sausage, bacon, garlic mushrooms and fried tomato with two slices of sourdough and two poached eggs. My dining partners had poached eggs on toast and pancakes.

I was really hoping to be able to give this review a higher score because previously I have had great food from here but today there were some things that just didn’t rate very well. In both the dishes with poached eggs they were way overdone; not runny and soft but all with hard boiled yokes and rubbery whites and one of my poached eggs was filled with water which ran all over my bread making for a soggy disappointment. The bacon, sausages and mushrooms were cooked well but the spinach leaves seemed to lack purpose, especially since they were served without a glaze or wilted... just raw leaves?

The pancakes were covered in caramel sauce and served with vanilla ice cream. They were super sweet and freshly prepared but just seemed to be missing something. Maybe a fruit compote or similar to balance the sweetness.

The coffees were great and in my experience are consistently so. The milkshake was tasty but please bring back the old tin cups which give a decent serving unlike the glass jars which are a bit underwhelming.

Olive’s is challenging for staff as the kitchen is small and the traffic can get super busy. I guess this is why we had a less than amazing experience however it’s defiantly worth a go if you are passing by on the bike track or make the drive to enjoy the great beachside location.

The staff here are really lovely and always willing to help. It’s just unfortunate that the location isn’t more “user friendly” to make their jobs easier.

Lovely and simple cafe in the corner of Breakfast Point Village. As you can see, I had the Big Breakfast (all day breakfast) and the Seafood Paella. Great serving size, with plentiful of fresh not frozen seafood in the paella, and both dishes were enjoyable to have.

Staff are super friendly and chilled, though this review was given 4 stars due to waiting time. Wasn't too long (about 15 minutues wait) however the food made up for the wait. Would return!

I had a large team lunch there for 12 of us, service and food were superb. Highly recommended. Everyone was happy with their meals.

The place has medium sized meal comparing to other places, generally over $20, with a teenager waiter who needs to work on his attention to detail for forgetting my order.

Help yourself to utensils when the service is slow.

Re owner: paid YF & ZD pty Ltd for two “large” meals (still looking for the receipt). I remember leaving your establishment still feeling hungry. By the time we order drinks and meals. It was easily over $20.
